Bagel Lovers on East Main Street reported receiving five counterfeit one dollar bills from an unidentified person on Nov. 20.
A man complained of being harassed in a rear parking lot of Bridgehampton National Bank Nov. 19 in a dispute with another man over a parking space. The assailant, described as 5-feet-10
with a goatee, pushed the victim, punched him in the side of the head and body, then left in a white SUV towing a red box trailer. The victim had a slight swelling on his head and pain in the ribs. The alleged assailant told police he felt threatened and pushed the victim away.
A Hampton Bays man told police on Nov. 18 that his ex-girlfriend had been harassing him since they broke up the week before by sending text messages to his cell phone. When the police spoke with the woman, she told them the man owes her money and that he also had been sending her text messages. Both were advised to stop attempting to contact the other.
